Privacy notice
Last updated: 29 July 2026
This notice explains what happens to the personal details you send when you ask Grigoris Eginitis for a booking or send an enquiry. It is written in plain language on purpose.
Who is responsible for your details
Grigoris Eginitis, a sole trader, is the data controller.
Agioi Apostoloi, Naousa, Paros 84401, Greece.
Phone +30 6974331247. Email aiginitisgrigoris@gmail.com.
This is a one-person business, so there is no separate data protection officer. Write to the email address above and it reaches the person responsible.
What is collected
Only what you type into the booking form and choose to send:
- your name
- your phone number
- your vehicle (make, model, year, as far as you give them)
- the service you think you need
- the date you would prefer
- anything else you add to the message yourself
If you telephone instead, the workshop only has whatever you say on the call and the number your phone presents.
Why it is collected
To answer you, to arrange a time to look at the vehicle, and to carry out any work you then ask for.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR: steps taken at your request before a contract, and performance of that contract if you go ahead. Where you are only asking a question and no work follows, the basis is Article 6(1)(f), the legitimate interest of replying to someone who contacted the business.
Where it goes
This website has no server behind it and no form service. The booking button composes a message inside your own email app, on your own device. Nothing is transmitted by this website, and this website never receives a copy.
You send that message yourself, from your own email account, to aiginitisgrigoris@gmail.com. It then sits in that mailbox.
That mailbox is a Gmail account, so Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC process the message as the mail provider, under Google's own terms, and may store or transmit it outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards Google publishes. No one else is given your details.
The workshop does not sell your details, does not use them for advertising, and does not add you to any mailing list.
How long it is kept
Your message is kept for 12 months after the work it relates to is finished, and is then deleted from the mailbox. If no work follows the enquiry, it is kept for 12 months from the day you sent it.
If you want it deleted sooner, ask and it will be deleted.
Cookies, analytics and tracking
There are none. This site sets no cookies of any kind. It loads no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising scripts, no embedded map, no embedded video and no fonts from other websites. Everything it needs is served from this site itself. The address links out to Google Maps, but that is an ordinary link: nothing from Google is loaded unless you choose to follow it.
That is why you are not being asked to accept anything. There is nothing to consent to.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask the workshop to:
- give you a copy of what it holds about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete what it holds (the right to erasure)
- restrict what is done with it
- object to it being used on the legitimate-interest basis
- send you what you provided in a portable form
Ask by email at aiginitisgrigoris@gmail.com, or by phone on +30 6974331247. Deletion is usually just a matter of deleting the email thread, and you will get an answer within one month. If a request is complicated, that can be extended by up to two further months, and you will be told why within the first month.
If you are not happy with the response, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Αρχή Προστασίας Δεδομένων Προσωπικού Χαρακτήρα), www.dpa.gr.
Children
The booking form is meant for vehicle owners. It is not aimed at children and no details are knowingly collected from them.
Changes to this notice
If the way details are handled changes, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it.
